Schlitt & Associates Real Estate, Inc. is the real estate company of choice for consumers and agents because we serve Indian River County’s, and our surrounding county’s, multicultural and diverse real estate needs. Associates Realty was incorporated and became affiliated with ERA Real Estate in May 1979. In February 1984, Chester R. Hogan, II (Chet) became the sole owner and president of the corporation. In 2004, Associates Realty of Indian River, Inc. became an independent real estate office. The office is centrally located in a high volume traffic zone between the east and westbound traffic of State Road 60, in the second block off U.S. Highway 1.
Proud of our team of 14 Realtors and secretarial staff of two, ASSOCIATES REALTY has one CRB, three CRSs, seven GRIs, three ABRs and one SRES. Among our agents, there are SweatHog Graduates and ERA Top Gun Graduates, and all of our Sales Associates have attended Selling Skills Training. This all adds up to a Winning Office for our clients and customers.
Background in the Community
I have lived in Vero Beach since I was born here, 47 years ago. Growing up here and being a resident for all these years has been a very influential factor in my success as a realtor. I know this town like the back of my hand. My knowledge of the area also helps me spot trends in certain areas that lesser experienced realtors may not see. To be able to give you a true valuation of your property is a specialty that can only be learned by hard work and dedication to the business for all these years.
The Schlitt Family
There are few people who spend a few years in Vero Beach that do not have a chance to meet at least one of the Schlitt's. The family first came here near the turn of the century when the roads were nothing but dirt and the main industry was based around Indian River Counties most famous product, citrus. Over the years and throughout the generations, the Schlitt family has become a permanent and quite influential part of Vero beach and its strong community.
The efforts of this family to make Vero Beach are quite evident in many places throughout the area and we do feel a sense of pride when this area is rated in the top places to live in the entire United States.
