Born in Northern Maine, Jim first moved down to the sunshine state in 1979. He is a graduate of IFREC, the only Florida real estate school to have fulfilled the requirements to receive national accreditation from the Council on Certification and Accreditation.
Jim believes his 25 years of "people experience" in the human resource field has him well prepared for the transition in to residential real estate.
Instilled early on by the examples of his grandparents and parents, he lives by the Boy Scout oath and by being sincere, honest and forthright in all his endeavors. Jim has learned that success can only be achieved through hard work, going above and beyond the call and by being respectful or others and their needs.
During his spare time over the years, Jim has been actively involved in the United States Jaycees, serving as a Past President for the Maine Jaycee Chapter. His other adopted causes include the United Way Campaign in various communities and has been an avid supporter of the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. When he's not busy with continuing education in the real estate field, Jim enjoys golf, reading, landscaping projects and web surfing.
Married to the former Marie Coffey, daughter of Jim and Ann Coffey or Vero Beach, Jim has two stepsons in the Atlanta area and one stepdaughter, living in Sebastian.
